The Art Department continues to maintain a popular profile within
the school locally and this is reflected in the consistently high
numbers of students opting for the subject in the upper school.
We aim to produce a positive and purposeful atmosphere in the department
with good teaching, enthusiastic learning, plenty of hard work
and lots of good humour.
We operate an open house system at lunchtime with art club five
days a week. Over the years we have had some outstanding exam
results and we are confidently looking into the future to build
on and maintain this success.

 ART EXHIBITION

THE REAL ME EXHIBITION was held at The Atrium, Central Library, Chelmsford from 1st to 11th November 2006.
Schools across the county were invited to submit paintings by students on the theme “The Real Me” as part of the countrywide Express Yourself 2006 initiative. Read more |
ARTISTIC INSPIRATION SOUGHT IN BAWDSEY The 'A' level art students and two art staff from the John Bramston School in Spinks Lane, Witham spent the weekend from Friday, September 24 to Sunday, September 25 at Bawdsey Manor on the Suffolk Coast for a residential art weekend. Read more |
