The John Bramston School is one of two successful
secondary schools serving the community of Witham. It has a fully
comprehensive 11 – 18 years intake with a diverse range
of students from all socio-economic backgrounds.
The John Bramston School does not have a catchment area as such.
For a number of years now parents have had a free choice of school
for their children. Obviously any school takes students from its
immediate vicinity, which in our case is the south-western half
of Witham. However we also take students from all parts of the
town, plus a number of surrounding villages including, Hatfield
Peveral, Terling, Rivenhall, Silver End and Faulkbourne.
