School Health Service
Our school nurse Mrs Harrison
and the school doctor, Dr Kumar, are based at the Witham Health
Centre. They both visit the school
regularly and can be contacted on 01376 302740.
Drop In
After school “Drop In” clinics are held every Monday
from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the Witham Health Centre, and Wednesday’s
at the Braintree Clinic (Telephone 01376 308200).
Pupils may attend with
or without their parent/guardian. Sexual
Health
In line with the current government recommendations, all
pupils, with or without their parent/guardians continues to be
welcome
at the Family Planning Clinic at the Witham Health Centre on Monday’s
from 6.30 pm to 9.00 pm or Braintree Clinic on Wednesday’s
from 3.45 pm to 8.30 pm for advice from Dr Nigel Savage and his
team of specialist nurses.
Vaccinations
Measles, Mumps and Rubella boosters will be offered to Year 11
students in the near future.
Year 10 Tetanus, Polio and Diptheria boosters will be offered
in the summer term. Consent forms will be sent nearer the time.
Domestic
Violence
Jane Stephenson, Health Visitor on telephone 01376 513234, would
be happy to advise students or parents/guardians if they have
any concerns.
