Welcome to our school, where the governors, the teaching staff and the support staff are committed to ensuring the highest standards of education for all our students.

The school is one that truly embraces ‘The Every Child Matters’ agenda as a basis on which to educate the students in our charge.

The school is a safe and supportive environment, where students are encouraged to learn through a mixture of collaboration and independent study.  We are a tolerant school, where we encourage the members of the community to respect not only themselves but each other and the environment.  We adhere to the principles of the ‘Discipline with Dignity’ paradigm.

We have some outstanding facilities, including specialist areas such as science laboratories.  We also have the priority use of the Bramston Sports Centre.

Parents are encouraged to participate fully in the life of the school.  There will be ample opportunities for this at target setting days, during assertive mentoring sessions and during open evenings.  We hope that every parent will become involved in the thriving Parents’ Association.
